Meet-up #3 - Dallas - Mar 22

For meet-up #3 we headed to Dallas in hopes of finding some warmer weather and good food. It was also a chance to visit the city that Michael is planning to move to in the next month.

Wednesday we flew in, worked from the hotel, and then met for an eBike tour of Dallas. We covered pretty much the entire city and the guide showed us some of the best sites. A great way to see Dallas. We finished the evening with a fantastic meal at a local Dallas brasserie featuring locally-raised food.

Thursday we worked out of WeWork for the day and then headed back out at night for a "Party Bike" tour / bar crawl of the Deep Ellum neighborhood, followed dinner at a great Asian fusion restaurant. It was St. Patrick's Day so the neighborhood was really busy. If you head to Dallas and want to catch great best food / barbecue / nightlife, then Deep Ellum is clearly your first destination.

Friday was another work day at WeWork and late in the afternoon we said goodbye as everyone started to either head off to meet friends in Dallas or fly home. Overall it was another great trip, a chance to see and do things we wouldn't otherwise get to do, and also get some much needed face-to-face time off of Zoom.
